The Baseball Hall of Fame is only one of many nearby tourist attractions. If you enjoy museums, summer opera, quaint architecture, shopping in artists' galleries or farmer's markets, and scenic boat rides, all are within a few miles.

Located in the historic Leatherstocking area of upstate New York, the MacDonalds' Old Red House was built in the mid-1800s, just a few miles from the headwaters of one branch of the Susquehanna River.  You can dabble your toes in its waters right from our back yard.  Nearby are the rolling hills of dairy country, lovely at any time of the year, with many charming villages and grand vistas of the Mohawk Valley.
